PROJECT DETAILS

A logo redesign for the Airstream Cafe – a retro vibe grab-and-go concept at LACMA in Los Angeles serving from an Airstream in the courtyard of the museum.

Based on a roughly executed original concept (see Burgers, Fries & Floats graphic), the redesign and final concepts are a more fully realized Googie style indicative of the 50’s and 60’s, with curving geometric shapes and iconic boomerang and starburst imagery.  

Along with redesigning the logo, brighter colors and cleaner fonts were incorporated and applied to menu design and supporting signage.
